The Company maintains a team of qualified personnel to offer after sales service and support wherever and whenever it is required. The service wing is well equipped to undertake any assignment anywhere in the country at the shortest notice. The team routinely visits the customers supplied with equipment manufactured by Power Link Engineering. Routine checkups are made and the customer is advised on preventive measures required to be taken. The service department maintains a good communication facility that is accessible round the clock. It includes an efficient E-mail and fax link. As soon as the complaint is brought to the notice of the service personnel they contact the client's engineering staff for a detailed update of the nature of the problem encountered. After assessing type of the problem, the team leaves for the troubled destination with would-be-required parts. Complete check-up of the equipment is carried out at the site and cause of the problem is carefully determined. Once the cause of the problem is identified, it is taken care of in a proper fashion. It is only then that the faulty equipment is replaced with a substitute . This ensures that the problem shall not arise in future. The faulty part is then assessed for repair. if it is repairable by changing some part of it (like contact kit of the contactors etc.) the same is done at our workshop otherwise it is discarded. Parts that are most susceptible to developing faults or those that get worn out the soonest are normally available with us in ready stock. This saves our customers from the botheration of hectic search of the market in case some component needs immediate replacement. Components that are noticed to be unavailable in the market at certain times are also kept in our ready stock. Components that do not require experts for handling or those that can be replaced by client's own engineering staff are usually dispatched within two hours of the receipt of the requirement from site by courier services if the requirement demands urgency. Otherwise all deliveries are dispatched within 48 hours of the receipt of technically and commercially clear order. |

Product Validation... |
We Prototypes of all newly developed products are as a standard practice put to rigorous tests at the company's own test laboratory. Once it qualifies the in-house tests, it is then submitted to some recognized independent laboratory/testing institution for validation. Once these testing authorities clear the product, it is offered to the company's marketing team for sale to the customers. If a customer wishes to get the equipment manufactured against his order tested by some particular laboratory, it can also be arranged at an additional cost. Since the works of the company is located in Lahore, the equipment is preferred to be tested at the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore or at the National Institute of Power, Lahore. Testing of the equipment solidly establishes the reliability of the equipment in the event that it is required to operate and protect the down-stream equipment against destructive faults.

Our Design Philosophy... |
All products, designed and manufactured at Power Link Engineering, are delivered keeping one principle in mind i.e. they should be “MODULAR” in design. This property enables the user to incorporate all future extensions/changes to his present equipment without any trouble. If a customer plans to add more L.T. equipment in future, the only thing he requires to do is to open the side of the switchboard and simply couple new panels with it. Once done the new equipment appears uniform in nature. All copper work inside the panel is also modular in nature. it may easily be removed to incorporate new changes whatsoever. The concept of manufacturing modular equipment was originated in Europe. The same has been updated to suit the local environment. All current carrying parts are duly de-rated for satisfactory operation at the extreme summer temperatures of Pakistan. It is ensured at the design stage that the temperature rise of the equipment is well within the limits specified by international standards. All panels are designed so as to afford easy accessibility to the maintenance personnel. Proper ventilation is ensured inside the panel by avoiding congestion of components. If the requirement so suggests, arrangements for forced cooling are also provided. All circuits inside the panels are properly marked for ease of identification. Complete sets of documents are also provided for easy reference and troubleshooting. All this is done to ensure:
